[edit] How do I Log into the system?

Please click on Snehapadma Biometric Attendance SaaS page and click on login.

Please read through Biometric_Attendance_SaaS_Help_Manual#Login for more details.

[edit] How do I add employees?

You must log into the system as Human Resource Manager so that you can add employees.

Once you have logged in, click on Employee link. This shows you list of the employees in your company.

At the bottom of this page, click "Create". This shall take you to the form that you need to fill to add the employees.

You can find more details about what needs to be filled on Employee Management.

It might be good idea to filter employees by the department to determine last used employee code and decide employee code of new employee.

[edit] How do I set locations for employees?

While adding or editing employee information, you can set what are the locations from which employee can mark attendance. On the employee edition/addition form, at the bottom, you can see two location lists. On the left is list of unassociated locations and on the right is list of associated locations. With the two arrow buttons between these lists, you can move locations from associated to unassociated and vice a versa. Once done, click on save (or save and add if you intend to add another employee) to make these changes effective.

[edit] How do I effect the transfer of employee from one location to other?

To transfer location of employee, you have to disassociate previous location and associate new location from the employee edition form. Please refer to previous faq on how to do it.

[edit] I have associated the new location but employee is still not able to mark fingerprint on this new location. Please explain.

This might happen when you have made changes about the location but these changes are not reflected in the local database. Please restart the application and make sure that system is online when that happens. This shall push the new settings from server to local machines.
