[edit] How Can I install the Time Office Software on the other machine?
This question assumes that
- You already have Time Office Software working on one of the PCs.
- You have installed the Database Server and Time Office Database.
- You have installation disc with you.
Now all you have to do is follow following steps
- Install the MyODBC Drivers from the installation disc.
- Install Extended List View Control that you shall find in Generic directory on the installation disc
- Run TimeOfficeSetup.exe. Make sure that you give correct IP address of MySQL Database Server. Also make sure that you select Time Office and NOT select Fingerprint Attendance or Registration on the Time Office Setup GUI. This will create requisite DSN and copy the Time Office folder to c:\Program Files\Snehapadma
- Copy latest copy of SPTO.exe to c:\Program Files\Snehapadma\Time Office
- Now run the system by double clicking Time Office Software Icon on the Desktop.
- Now give user name and password to the system and open the following forms.
- Open Master -> Employee Form
- Open Control -> Manpower Planning Form
- These forms might show some dependency error. Please find dependency files in Util\Setup Files\ folder of installation disc and copy the requisite files to c:\windows\system32 to get up and running.
