Please note that this is a quick installation guide. It assumes that you have installed MySQL ODBC Connector and Fingerprint Drivers on the Client PC and MySQL Server, MySQL ODBC COnnector, MySQL GUI Tools on the Server PC.

  • Step 2: Unzip this file in a local folder
  • Step 3: Run TimeOfficeSetup.exe
  • Step 4: Tick the Appropriate check boxes on the screen.
  • Step 5: Please give IP Address of Server PC if it is not the localhost.
  • Step 6: Also un-check Database Update if you are not running this on the Server PC.
  • Step 7: Click on Install
  • This creates appropriate ODBC on the PC, creates necessary short cuts on the Desktop.
  • Step 8: Now you need to give server IP Address as an argument to "Fingerprint Attendance" shortcut on Desktop.
    • Right click this shortcut
    • Click on Properties
    • In the Target Box, add " -Sxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your server IP Address
    • e.g. it should be: "C:\Program Files\Snehapadma\Attendance System\spfia.exe" -S192.168.1.121
